What are the differences between porcelain and ceramic tile?
Ceramic is a fired bisque product with a glaze over the top. Porcelain is a throughbody fired product.
What types of natural stone do you offer?

How do I choose the right tile for my project?
Visit our showroom and we can help with the process of choosing the right tiles.
Can I use the same tile on the floor, walls, and backsplashes?
Yes however some ceramics are not suitable for wear and tear of floor use.
How often do I need to reseal my tile grout?
If you use a penetrating sealer, one good application is sufficient. See manufacturers recommendation for more information, or ask your qualified Davis Tile & Marble team.
What is a pan made of?
There are different types of pan material. Some are a thick vinyl which requires folding and cutting at the corners. At Davis tile & Marble we prefer to use a paint on vulcanized rubber which makes a seamless application.

What's the difference between Granite, Quartzite and Quartz?
Granite is a magma that stayed underground versus basalt which came out the top of a volcano.
Quartzite is similar to granite but much harder than granite but the looks are softer ie : Less veining and movement.
Quartz is an engineered product made up of 90-95% true quartz which is a natural stone.

Yes we do.
What is involved in the bathroom remodeling process?
Each project differs. Davis tile and Marble can help you with all facets of your remodel.
How long does a typical kitchen remodel take?
Depends on the extent of the job.
Installation & Care
How do I clean and maintain my natural stone countertops?
Soap and water is the recommended cleaner. NO ammonia. NO windex just soap and water. Your countertops have been presealed which gives you ample time to wipe up any spills. In the event you have stains on your granite countertops call DTM for further instructions.
Can you repair chipped or cracked tiles?
Usually they need to be removed or replaced. If that's not an option we can faux in the crack, this will not make it go away but it will make it a little more pleasing to the eye.
Can you repair damaged stone surfaces?
Chips are very common to occur during the life of your countertops. We at DT&M have a high success rate on repairing them to an acceptable look. (not perfect because its a repair)
Do you offer any warranty on your installation services?
Our work carries a 1 year warranty.

Do you offer financing options?
We do not finance, however we can make a payment plan depending on your project.
What is your warranty policy on products and installations?
Our Installation is guaranteed for 1 year Each stone product comes with atleast a 1 year warranty, some have longer warranties.
What is the lead time for custom stone fabrication and installation?
Time needed to complete any project varies by its complexity. Some projects take a few days to a week some take months, depending on availability of materials and/or products. We typically do not start until all variables are available to complete the project
